Sully is a smashing young staffy who is full of life. He is a lovely boy who will need basic training and would probably benefit from extra training such as agility classes. This poor little lad came in to the centre a year ago when he was just 2 weeks old. After a long ongoing inspectorate investigation, this super dog and his brother Clyde are now ready for homing. Kennel life is all this young dog knows so he will need a patient new owner to help him adapt to home life. Please click here for Sully’s full details.

Guinea Pig Fostering Programme
RSPCA South Godstone is currently looking after a large group of guinea pigs and would like to find suitable foster carers who could offer them temporary accommodation and care until they are permanently rehomed. The guinea pigs came in via an inspector from a house where over 100 were being kept. Sadly, as there was such a large number, many of them were not being kept in suitable conditions and their welfare needs were not being met.
Guinea pigs need daily gentle handling ideally from a young age and they will then, in time, get used to human contact and respond, making their own communication noises. They need their living area cleaned regularly, bedding replenished, food including hay and fresh vegetables and clean water daily. Guinea pigs also like to have a tunnel or a box to hide in, they can make a lovely pet and come with a variety of hairstyles! Please click on this link to read feedback on what’s it’s like to foster one of our guinea pigs.
If you’d like to apply to be a guinea pig foster carer, please contact us on 0300 123 9741 or via the Friends’ enquiries mail box to the right.
