Chummie 4

Meet Chummy. This gorgeous boy originally came into our care from a multi-dog household, along with his mum, Star.  Sadly Chummy had never been walked, and initially was very scared and worried of new things. Thankfully with some patience and tender loving care from our understanding staff, as well as some reassurance from mum, he has come on in leaps and bounds.  Could you provide newly confident Chummy with a home to start his best adventure yet?  For further details on Chummy and to view him in an amazing video , please follow this link.

Mark crosses the finishing line!

You’ll be delighted to hear Mark completed the marathon in 4 hours 54 mins and 53 secs and apart from a few black toe nails (ouch) says he feels great!

This year the London Marathon will be held on Sunday 24 April and one of our very own Trustees and volunteers, Mark Root, will be running the gruelling 26 miles and 385 yards to raise funds for the Centre.  Mark has been busy training and preparing for the big day for the past few months.  Mark’s hoping to complete it in 4 hours and 20 minutes, which is an impressive time!  If you’d like to show your support for Mark’s Marathon effort, you can sponsor him at
