Lost & Found
If you have lost a pet, you can call the RSPCA 24-hour cruelty and advice line 0300 1234 999 to provide details for the lost and found register. If someone then finds your pet and contacts the RSPCA National Call Centre, they will have the information they need to try and reunite you. You also need to contact your local RSPCA Centre, download a Lost & Found form here and return it to us via email. Please send completed forms to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Read our Web Links & Telephone Numbers for details of other organisations that might be able to help with lost and found animals.
You could also contact your local veterinary surgeries, other animal organisations and the police. Your milkman and postman may be able to help by looking out for your pet on their rounds.
You could try putting up posters in the area with a picture of your pet, and advertising in newsagents, schools and local newspapers.
You could even ask local radio stations if an announcement could be made about your search. To make any future searches easier, be sure to get your pets microchipped. Microchipping is a quick and easy way to protect your pet for life. We can microchip your pet at the Centre for just £15 and it only takes about ten minutes including completing the registration forms.
